An autumn roadtrip in Tasmania

The mist shrouds an crisp, golden wonderland.

Autumn is a fantastic time to visit Tasmania. On clear days the Apple Isle's orchard and vineyards display a kaleidoscope of fine colours. Gloomy days are a great chance to get cosy and try some great produce, a generous slice of apple pie perhaps?

When the rain clears, a fantastic array of fungi dot the understory of forests as you wander along the remanants of ancient species, some only found here, and others once shared with Antarctica.
